RADIUS is a security authentication client/server protocol widely used by client devices to access resources on remote servers. RADIUS is an industry standard protocol (RFCs 2865 and 2866, "Remote Authentication Dial-in User Service (RADIUS)" and "RADIUS Accounting") for providing Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting services for distributed networking. A RADIUS client, typically a VoIP server (SIP Server, VoIP Gateway) sends user and connection information to a RADIUS server. The RADIUS server Authenticates and Authorizes the RADIUS clients request and sends a response back to the client. The client makes a decision based on the response received and either continues to processing (connects a call) or ends processing (disconnects the caller).

Card Account Features

  • Define PostPaid, ANI PostPaid, PrePaid or ANI PrePaid account types

RadiusCat can be installed in several different configurations. Requirements above are for an Economy Installation which includes RadiusCat Service, RadiusCat Console and RadiusCat Billing installed on the same computer. Actual requirements will vary based on your system configuration and the applications and features you choose to install. Additional available hard-disk space may be required.

RadiusCat software works on the hardware certified for use with the Microsoft Windows operating system.
